What You’ll Need
First of all, can I get an amen for no power tools required?! Here’s a list, with links, of what I used:
- Circle wood – Mine is 12″ x 1″ like this one
- Wooden Round Ball – I went with four 3″ balls like these
- Foam paint brush or staining pad
- Gorilla Glue
- Your choice of stain – I used Special Walnut by Minwax
- Protective wood finish – like this one
Once you have everything on hand, stain your circle wood and balls. Be sure to follow the instructions on your stain can. Then add glue to your balls and hold them in place on the round top, one by one, until each one is set. Finish things off by applying sealer to the top of the riser.
